Our philosophy on pruning is to work with the trees natural form to create and maintain strong and healthy trees that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional whilst removing the smallest possible amount of living tissue.
Let’s get it right the first time. Before we start pruning, we ask that you tell us what you would like to achieve. Are you primarily concerned with risk mitigation, tree health, aesthetics or size? Have you got more specific requirements for example clearance of branches over a driveway?
Once we know what you would like to achieve, we will undertake a thorough inspection of the tree(s) and consider factors such as the age, health and vigour of the tree, its natural form and structure and its growing environment.

Tree removal
One of our core values is tree preservation so we will always help you explore practical alternatives to tree removal. All too often we encounter trees that have been condemned for unjustified reasons. Often hazardous trees can be retained by remedial pruning or isolation and trees on development sites may be retained by making minor design changes.
We accept that trees have a limited lifespan, may become hazardous may have been planted in a less than ideal position or at times may be less important than a proposed development.
When it comes to tree removal, Treemate is experienced, safe and efficient. We can remove large and dangerous trees in confined spaces without causing damage to your property. We use machinery wherever practical to minimise injuries from manual handling and to get through the job quicker.
Stump Removal
Stump removal is an optional service which complements tree removal. Stump removal creates more space for replanting new trees and also reduces the possibility of soil borne pathogens such as Armillaria root rot.
Tree Lighting
Have you been to a beautiful place where the lighting created all the atmosphere? Maybe you remember a specific place, a party at a private residence, a venue? It most likely made that place more memorable. Lights effect our emotions! If your a venue or a home where you really want to wow your friends and showcase a beautiful feature tree or trees, we would love to talk to you.
We will advise you on the most ecological way to light your trees in the most beautiful way. The advances in technology means we can make sure you have the latest in LED lighting to minimize power consumption, but at the same time, we can really help you showcase your trees or even palms to be a beautiful feature.
